About Me

I am an ASCP Registered Histotechnologist. I have over 40 years in the histology field, and was the Division Supervisor of Histology at Sacred Heart Medical Center (a 650 bed acute care facility in Spokane, Washington) for 25 years. Our School of Histotechnology consistently produced highly achieving histo-technologists, many of whom have become supervisors and managers.

Since retiring from Sacred Heart Medical Center in 2000, I have worked as a traveling histotech in many states, including work at the high volume Mohs lab at the Department of Dermatology, Medical University of South Carolina under the direction of Dr. Pearon Lang and Dr. Joel Cook and others

At that time I began consulting, specializing in training Mohs technicians and consulting on Mohs laboratory design, equipment selection and set up. My service also offers vacation relief and emergency leave coverage for your technician as well as periodic coverage for routine Mohs cutting. See Mohs Lab Staffing

I keep my expenses (and your costs) to a minimum utilizing economy lodging and transportation. I make all arrangements.

I am an independent contractor, therefore you have no responsibility for federal, state or Medicare taxes. IRS W-9 form provided.

Available on as little as one day notice(as scheduling allows) and for several days up to several weeks as your needs dictate.
